Dr. Ekta VermaTraining & Placement Officer Dr. Verma, a Gold Medalist, after acquiring teaching experience in Institute of Management Science, University of Lucknow joined the University of Allahabad as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce and Business Administration in 2015. Dr. Verma is the recepient of the Best Paper Award in an International Conference in November 2017 and has been conferred upon the Strongest Woman Award on International Women day, 8th March, 2018 by 101 BN RAF, Prayagraj. Her area of expertise is Marketing Management, Strategic Management, Digital Marketing and Management Information System. She has proved her excellence in M.Com by attaining Gold Medal for securing first position in the University of Jammu in 1997. Also proficient in French, Dr. Verma aims at writing research paper in the same and present it at University of Paris.... Much of her work on technological innovation has concerned new Information Technologies and she has been particularly interested in Service Industries as Users and sources of Innovation. She has attended numerous Conferences and Seminars and presented more than 20 research papers. She has more than fifteen research papers either communicated or published to her credit. She has authored five books viz., Consumerism in Indian Consumer Banking (2007), Business Communication (2013), GST (2017) and Business Communication and Computers (2018) and Business Communication (2019). She got excellence in the systems course in Diploma in Information and Systems Management in 1994. She has also worked as a Surveyor in an ICSSR sponsored project under the brilliant guidance of Prof. R D Sharma, Ex-VC, University of Jammu in 2003. She is a member in editorial board in International Journal of Research in Business Studies and Edwin group of journals and lifetime member in All India Commerce Association. She is constantly engaged in innovative research endeavours. She desires to empower awareness through her research and papers by creating innovative and community focused digital marketing so they can spread their message and increase their positive impact on the planet. |
